Refund & Cancellation Policy

1. Overview

This policy explains how refunds and cancellations work for tickets and add-ons purchased through Dark Tantra Temple at darktantratemple.com. It applies to event purchases. Refunds and returns for physical shop merchandise are handled separately under our Returns policy, described in Section 7 below.

Whether a refund is available, and the amount of any refund, is determined by Dark Tantra Temple in our reasonable discretion based on the circumstances of the request, the timing relative to the event, and applicable law. Nothing in this policy limits any right to a refund that you may have under the law that applies to you.

2. Event Tickets and Add-Ons

Tickets and add-ons are sold for specific events. If you would like to request a refund of a paid ticket or add-on, please contact us at temple@mail.darktantratemple.com with the email address used for the purchase and the name of the event. We review every request individually.

• Timing matters. Requests made well before an event are more likely to be granted than requests made close to the event start, because seats held for you cannot always be re-offered to someone else at short notice.
• Removal for conduct. If you are refused entry to, or removed from, an event because your conduct violates our Community Policy or places the community at risk, you are not entitled to a refund.
• No-shows. If you do not attend an event and did not request a refund in advance, the ticket is generally not refundable.

3. Complimentary and Voucher-Issued Tickets

Complimentary tickets, and tickets issued as a courtesy without a cash payment, are not refundable for cash.

If a ticket was paid for in part with voucher credit and is refunded, the voucher portion of the refund is restored to your voucher balance in the same proportion in which it was applied. Vouchers have no cash value and cannot be exchanged for cash. Voucher terms are described in full in Section 7 of our Terms of Service.

4. How Refunds Are Returned

When we issue a refund, the cash portion is returned to the original payment method used for the purchase. Card refunds are processed through Stripe and typically settle within three to ten business days, depending on your card issuer. We do not control how quickly your bank or card issuer posts a refund once we have issued it.

Where a purchase was made with a method other than a card — for example cash, Venmo, or Zelle — we will arrange an equivalent refund through a reasonable method and will confirm the details with you.

5. Events Cancelled or Rescheduled by Dark Tantra Temple

Occasionally we may need to cancel or reschedule an event. When we cancel an event, we address refunds on a per-event basis and communicate the available remedies to ticket holders at the time of cancellation. Depending on the circumstances, remedies may include a refund of the cash paid, restoration of any voucher credit applied, or the option to transfer your ticket to a future event.

If we reschedule an event, your ticket generally moves to the new date. If the new date does not work for you, contact us at temple@mail.darktantratemple.com and we will work with you on the available options.

6. Cancelling Your Own Registration

If you can no longer attend an event you have registered for, please let us know as early as possible at temple@mail.darktantratemple.com. Early notice gives us the best chance of offering your seat to someone on the waitlist and improves the likelihood that we can offer you a refund or a credit toward a future event.

Refunds for member-initiated cancellations are granted at our reasonable discretion as described in Section 2.

7. Shop Merchandise

Returns, exchanges, and refunds for physical products purchased from the Dark Tantra Temple shop — including print-on-demand merchandise and on-hand goods — are governed by our Returns policy, not by this policy. You can read it at darktantratemple.com/returns. In short: items that arrive damaged, defective, misprinted, or wrong are replaced or refunded at no cost to you, and most unopened, unused non-intimate items may be returned within fourteen days of delivery.

8. Refunds and Affiliate Commissions

If an order that earned an affiliate commission is later refunded, the commission credited for that order may be reduced or reversed accordingly. Affiliate program terms are described in Section 9 of our Terms of Service.
