I'm Sir Pocketz, founder of Dark Tantra Temple. I'm a Houston-based facilitator and coach, and rope is my through-line. I use it as a language of connection, then weave it together with tantric practice, somatic embodiment, breath, and conscious intimacy so no two sessions land the same way. Hispanic veteran, husband, father. Everything I hold space for is trauma-informed and consent-forward from the first breath, built to help adults come home to their bodies and meet each other with presence and care.

Rope sits at the center of my work. It's how two people drop into trust, sensation, and real presence with each other. From there I blend in tantric breath, energy work, somatic awareness, and play, shaping each experience around the people in the room. Clear agreements, grounded instruction, held with both heat and care. New to rope or years in, you're met where you are and never pushed past it.

Join us for an evening of rope, fire, movement, music, connection, and exploration in a playful, consent-centered community space. Whether you are completely new to rope or have years of experience, this gathering offers opportunities to connect, learn, explore, witness, and share in an atmosphere of curiosity, creativity, and respect. For some, the evening may be about rope. For others, it may be about connection. For others still, it may simply be about being surrounded by people who value authenticity, presence, and conscious exploration. Throughout the evening you’ll find opportunities for: * Rope exploration and connection * Fire play demonstrations and experiences * Sensual movement and dance * Authentic connection and meaningful conversations * Community, playfulness, and self expression * Nervous system regulation through trust, containment, and presence * Opportunities to tie, be tied, learn, observe, or simply enjoy the atmosphere Free play is an adult playground. It is a participatory experience where you are invited to engage at the level that feels right for you. Some people spend the evening immersed in rope. Some connect sensually Some connect with old friends. Some make new ones. Some quietly observe and take it all in. All are welcome.
