Intro to Rope and Connection

Curious about Shibari? Join Fay for an introduction to the art of rope in a safe, supportive, and beginner-friendly environment. In this workshop, we will speak about intentions, consent, communication, and safety practices while learning the foundations of technical rope. Participants will learn essential rope handling skills, including rope bundling, the single column tie, lock-offs, and methods for connecting two ropes. Whether you attend solo or with a partner, this class emphasizes presence, trust, and mindful connection. Through guided practice, you'll gain practical skills while exploring rope as a tool for presence, creativity, and connection. We will conclude with a guided rope meditation, offering an opportunity to deepen your connection with yourself or another through stillness, awareness, and intentional touch. No experience is necessary. All are welcome. You don’t need to bring anything besides yourself.
